Norse Report Launches a Weekly Newsletter
In an effort to create an organized flow of information, we've created a newsletter... will you join us?

For the past couple of years, Chris and I have worked really hard to create engaging content that helps to grow the fanbase. We’ve been fairly successful in doing so, but it wasn’t until we actually dipped into the fanbase for help that we actually made serious gains. Last year, we had Larry Wical and J.C. Gardiner, both admins on the NORSE NATION fanpage on Facebook come on board and help launch us to the next level. Their creative storytelling and insightful outlook on NKU Hoops (and other sports) were the driving forces behind our growth and credibility that we saw last season.
NKU fans deserve the largest chunk of the credit though. We’re a fansite created by fans and for fans. We know the kind of content you care about because we are you. We’d be nothing if you guys didn’t read, listen to, follow, engage with what we put out there. The best part is that half of the content is inspired directly by you guys! Just last night I saw two posts on the NORSE NATION fan page about incoming freshmen Sam Vinson and Isaiah Mason - both of which reminded me that we need to throw some eyes their way over the next couple of weeks. We see what you all are talking about and we adjust our strategy based on what you want.
Coming into this year, things were going to be different. How could they not? COVID-19 ruined our shot at competing in another March Madness tournament and guess what - by the time November came around it was still raging throughout the country, so much so that fans could no longer attend games. We knew that there would be a slight downtick in fan engagement this season, for obvious reasons, but I don’t think we anticipated just how little demand there would be at the end of 2020 for NKU sports-related content.
Now that 2021 is here (and I’ve gotten quite a few concerned text and Facebook messages regarding our lack of content), it just makes sense for Norse Report to take the next step into our content creation, by creating a weekly newsletter.
We hope you will take this journey with us, simply by subscribing and following along as we share what insights we have on what is going on with NKU Sports. Thank you.
